Jennifer Lopez, after having started her career as a dancer during the early 90s, has reached to such a height of fame, which very few celebrities in Hollywood could achieve. Jennifer Lopez was invited to participate in a human rights event organized by UNICEF at White House in May 2001. Jennifer Lopez was awarded ‘Artists for Amnesty International’ in February 2007 for her excellent role as a producer and actor in the film ‘Border Town’, which exposed the ongoing murders of hundreds of women in a border city of Mexico. The award was presented to Jennifer Lopez at Berlin International Film Festival by Nobel Peace Prize winner ‘Jose Ramos-Horta’. An organization of families of murdered women in Mexico also offered a special recognition and thanks to Jennifer Lopez.
